This past Saturday I dragged my poor husband to a past life regression meditation at Zierra Myst over in Mount Juliet. I’ve been wanting to do a past life regression ever since my neighbor in Jacksonville did one.

In her case, she had it taped and was nice enough to let me listen. It was fascinating!

But it was also pricey. We never had spare money for me to do one when we lived there. I’ve saved up some money since we’ve lived here specifically for a past life regression.

The meditation session at Zierra Myst was done by Holly Raventalker and was a bargain price of $10. That was reasonable. I figured I could sort of “test drive” her. If I liked her, I could see if she did single sessions.

So off we went to see if our past lives would be revealed to us.

HOW WE WERE REGRESSED

It was a BYOB&P (Bring Your Own Blankets & Pillows) affair. Everybody put their stuff on the floor and laid back. Holly told us to breathe deeply, letting all the tension melt away.

Next she told us to visualize ourselves rising from our bodies, floating up through the ceiling, past the roof and into a meadow. We were instructed to touch down, feel the grass on our feet, and head towards the forest.

In the forest there were doors in the trees. She asked us to pick a tree and travel down the spiral staircase to a door at the bottom. When we were ready we could open the door and walk into our past life.

She instructed us to look around. Take in the details. Get a feeling for the time, place, what gender we were, etc.

Next she told us to pinpoint  the most significant day in that life. See it. Remember it.

Then she instructed us to go to the day we died. She made sure to tell us it was a memory, it wasn’t real, if it was too painful, or when we were ready, to head to the light.

Then she’d guide us back to the meadow and forest and we’d enter a tree and do it all again. We did it three times total.

MY THREE PAST LIVES

The first past life I saw nothing except a tilted 5.

The next life I got the sense of a desert, wind, hot, but I didn’t necessarily see a landscape. There was also a shape: a straight line with another line over it that was straight on the sides and arched in the middle. Much like the astrological symbol for Libra.

Libra

In the first two lives I couldn’t tell you a thing. Not if I was a man or woman, or even a person at all for that matter. I couldn’t tell you where I was or what time period. It was all very vague and ambiguous.

But my third life was a bit different. I got the overwhelming sense I was in a prison of some sort. I was chained to the wall. It was very dank. There were gray stones.

I don’t know if I was a man or woman, where I was (as in what city, but it felt perhaps European, possibly medieval), or what the season was. When we were instructed to go to the day we died I got an almost claustrophobic sense of my whole head being covered by a black cloth, like the hoods they used to put over people who were to be hanged.

Speaking of hanging, I didn’t feel any noose around my throat, but I also got the sense I was on my way to the gallows.

Weird.

Or was it?

SELF-FULFILLING PROPHECY?

I cleared my mind as best as I could and was open to receiving whatever images might come. I honestly expected none. I’ve tried to be hypnotized before. Didn’t work.

Wayne said he saw two different lives. In one he was a goat herder whose goat had been shot (or killed somehow, he thought by being shot). In the other he was a little Dutch boy who had either been killed by a bicycle or while riding one. (I”m still trying to figure out if he was being serious or messing with me.)

If his mind was just concocting something, I don’t know where he got his inspiration from. I had just written about prisons the day before our past life regression session, so I couldn’t help but wonder if that had influenced what I saw in my third life.

It left me all the more curious. I still want to try a full bore past life regression of the hypnotized variety. Holly doesn’t exactly specialize in those. Might have to schedule one on our next trip back to Jax with the therapist lady who regressed my neighbor.

Have you ever done a past life regression? What did you see?

  1. I have never done one but have been curious about it. Thanks for sharing yours.

  2. Well, I’ve never had my aura photographed and you have. Always wanted to do that. Maybe I’ll get to do that and you’ll get to do this. 😉
