Terror on Tubi kicked off on October 1. It contains four new Tubi originals as well as more than 5,000 horror and paranormal titles.
Thanks to an interview I did with R. H. Stavis and Katherine Fisher for their short horror movie, Posies, I had a little heads up that the free steaming service had something planned for the Halloween season. Near the end of the interview, I asked what other projects they had in the works. I was hoping we’d be able to see something else from them soon. Stavis said she’d be in something on Tubi for Halloween. As in herself. Not as a writer, director, or actor.
That’s why posts on JoBlo.com and ComicBook.com about Terror on Tubi programming caught my eye this week. They contained a list of the new movies releasing on Tubi during Halloween, as well as Tubi originals. It definitely held a clue about a show I’m pretty sure is the one we’ll see Stavis in.
Let’s take a look at all of the Terror on Tubi Halloween programming.

Terror on Tubi Originals
True crime, one of America’s most haunting murders, exorcisms, and a movie about ghosts turning the tables on paranormal investigators and hunting them, here are the four originals that will release this month on Tubi:
Meet, Marry, Murder – October 6th
A 13-part true crime series hosted and executive-produced by actress Michelle Trachtenberg (Buffy the Vampre Slayer, Gossip Girl), explores the true stories of people who were murdered by their partners, and features interviews with witnesses to discuss the tragic unions.
Famously Haunted: Amityville – October 15th
When infamous Amityville killer Ronnie Defeo died behind bars this year, social media blew up with a new wave of armchair detectives and paranormal experts obsessed with the real-life horror story that shattered this sleepy Long Island village nearly 50 years ago. Now, just in time for Halloween, from FOX Alternative Entertainment comes Famously Haunted: Amityville, a fresh look at how six shocking murders spawned one of the most terrifying ghost stories in American history.
Celebrity Exorcism – October 22nd
From FOX Alternative Entertainment, Celebrity Exorcism stars Jodie Sweetin (Full House), Shar Jackson (Moesha), and Metta World Peace (NBA Champion and All-Star), as they come together for a good old-fashioned fright fest! With the help of an acclaimed exorcist, this team of brave celebrities enrolls in a paranormal boot camp like we’ve never seen before – journeying to exorcise an iconic haunted location… Do you dare to join them?
Harland Manor – October 29th
Directed by Steven R. Monroe (The Exorcism of Molly Hartley, I Spit on Your Grave) and co-written by Steven R. Monroe and John Thaddeus (Sea of Love), Harland Manor stars Camille Sullivan (Intelligence), Summer H. Howell (Cult of Chucky), Dion Johnstone (Sweet Magnolias), and Josh Strait (The Ice Road) as a team of paranormal investigators who document the haunted Harland Manor, only to find themselves hunted by the malevolent ghosts that still dwell there.

Check-In
Can you spot the Tubi original that might be the one R. H. Stavis is in?
If you have no clue, here’s how you can get one: either watch or listen to my interview with these two talented ladies. In addition to being a writer, Stavis reveals another talent she has…

Courtney Mroch is a globe-trotting restless spirit who’s both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, and obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days. Perhaps it has something to do with her genes? She is related to occult royalty, after all. Marie Laveau, the famous Voodoo practitioner of New Orleans, is one of her ancestors. (Yes, really! As explained here.) That could also explain her infatuation with skeletons.
Speaking of mystical, to learn how Courtney channeled her battle with cancer to conjure up this site, check out HJ’s Origin Story.
I think Stavis will be in Celebrity Exorcism. Tubi has really taken off!
I’ve actually been really impressed with Tubi’s selection. I did a lot of Tubi movies during lockdown
BINGO!!! I didn’t write it in the post but any guesses qualified for an extra bankable bonus point so…congrats! And because you got it right, I’m doubling it to 2!
Oh, and right? Tubi is really going full steam into the streaming game!!!
You were holding out on me! lol You’re always in the know. I just learned of it this past summer but now I see Tubi (or someone talking about Tubi) every time I turn around it seems. But I totally agree with you. They have some really good stuff on there!
