A Paranormal Prom, A Titanic Seance and Para Lectures Galore: A Look at April’s Ghost Events

Since I started keeping track of ghost events again on the Ghost Tour & Ghost Hunting Events page, I thought it might be nice to share them in their own post each month. Make them stand out a little more. Even though I’ve tried to make it easy to find events on that page, it can get a little overwhelming. Plus, some have very creative names, or concepts –or both! This gives them a little better chance of being seen.

I wish I’d started this for March, because there were not only a ton of ghost events, but also some doozies. Like the fundraiser and unofficial reopening of the Haunted Old South Pittsburgh Hospital that included an investigation with the Tennessee Wraith Chasers.  Or Patti Starr’s Original Ghost Hunting Certification Class.

Oh well, better late than never, right? (Well, I guess I’m late for March, but not for April listings or for continuing to share events from here on out.)

I’ve listed them first by state, then by date.

So check them out and see if there are any near you. Or perhaps somewhere you might want to get away to.

Confession: Okay, I have to admit the Moonshine Rising Paranormal Experience caught my eye because Rick McCallum will be one of the guest investigators. He’s the founder of the Hollywood Ghost Hunters.

Rick caught my eye when him and his HGH team investigated with Zak and his crew on an episode of Ghost Adventures. In “Look Who the Ghost Adventures Crew is Investigating with Now” I admitted to crushing a little (a lot) on Rick. Hubba hubba!

Never in a million years did I think he’d ever see that post, but somehow he did. And he was so gracious about it at all.

Then a couple of years ago I got to meet him at The Scarefest in Lexington, Kentucky. Something else I never expected to happen. He couldn’t have been nicer (or cuter) in person.

He was also on my radio show after that, and we’ve kept in touch off and on since. We’ve had a lot of great chats about the paranormal. He’s as super smart as he is good looking, and I can only imagine what an asset he’d be on an investigation –not to mention a hoot to hunt with!

Alright, confession’s over. I feel better. Let’s get on to all the events this month.
