Yesterday a box arrived on my doorstep. I opened it up and found something else to giveaway!
I tried to get a good picture of all the goodies inside this basket, which was sent to me to giveaway to you courtesy of Maggie’s Station. Tucked inside the purple haunted house tin basket are edible eyeballs and bloody body parts candy along with Frankenstein note cards.
I decided to call it the Trick or Treat Basket giveaway. Want to enter for a chance to win? The details follow below:
HOW TO ENTER
I’m making this one super simple: Leave a comment telling me what your favorite candy is.
RULES
- You can enter as many times as you want. The only catch is that each comment you leave has to specify a different favorite candy. (So you can’t repeatedly enter with an M&M’s pick!)
- Entries accepted until 5 p.m. CST Halloween/Samhain.
- A winner will be picked by name sometime Halloween night. (I may recruit a trick or treater to pick the name even!)
- The winner will be announced sometime on Halloween night. (Just as I said in the Pick the Crash Culprit contest, that’s if all goes as planned. Which, if you’ve been following the Halloween Blog Party all month long, you know very little has gone according to plan… But we’ll see it we can make it happen.)
Courtney Mroch is a globe-trotting restless spirit who’s both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, and obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days. Perhaps it has something to do with her genes? She is related to occult royalty, after all. Marie Laveau, the famous Voodoo practitioner of New Orleans, is one of her ancestors. (Yes, really! As explained here.) That could also explain her infatuation with skeletons.
Speaking of mystical, to learn how Courtney channeled her battle with cancer to conjure up this site, check out HJ’s Origin Story.
