Gabe Lenners, the host of the investigative podcast “Obscurum: Invasion of the Drones,” chatted with Bethenny Frankel about the ongoing drones mystery.

I’m desperately out of touch. Maybe because I’m not on TikTok, where apparently Bethenny Frankel “accidentally became the voice of the people on the drones, aka the Dior bags topic.”

But it happened, and now I have questions, including “How did a Real Housewives star become the voice of the mysterious drone sightings?” and “What is the Dior bags topic?”

The Mysterious Drone Sightings

Remember those? (I know. Easily forgotten with everything else going on in the world these days.) They provided tantalizing fodder for many news outlets last summer.

But as soon as he was in office, figuring it all out was top of Trump’s agenda. In fact, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt’s first press briefing was about the issue, which was determined to be authorized by the FAA.

“After research and study,” Leavitt said, “the drones that were flying over New Jersey in large numbers were authorized to be flown by the FAA for research and various other reasons.”

She went on to clarify, “Many of these drones were also hobbyists, recreational and private individuals that enjoy flying drones. In time, it got worse due to curiosity. This was not the enemy.”

Bethenny Frankel and the Dior Bags Issue

Let’s next pivot to the “Dior bags topic.” Had to look that up. If, like me, you had no idea what it is, here’s what I found out.

It was sort of like how people used “Let’s go Brandon” to express a certain political ideology and affiliation. Frankel fashioned her own hashtag, #Diorbags, to avoid getting “shadowbanned” on social media when discussing the topic of the mysterious drone sightings across the United States.

Gabe Lenners, the host of “Obscurum: Invasion of the Drones,” interviewed Frankel about the sightings. Let’s just say, I did not have Real Housewives Bethenny Frankel and the mysterious drones issue on my bingo card. What about you?
