I finally had a chance to read my YouTube Subscription Update email and saw Beyond Ghosts had added a new video: Beyond Ghosts Events for Summer 2010! Curious, I popped on over to check it out.
It’s SLICK!
It’s actually everything a video of this nature probably should be: informative, concise, and entertaining. In 30 short seconds you find out all the places you can attend a Beyond Ghosts event.
They’ve got some great ones from the looks of things: Eagle House, Shea’s Buffalo (a first time ever ghost hunt venue, which would make it that much more fun), and Eastern State. But what I like most is they all include one of my favorite things: FOOD!
Check it out. If you plan on being in New York or in Pennsylvania this summer, you might want to add one of the Beyond Ghosts events to your list of things to do.
(Keep in mind they often serve a dual purpose: educating people not only about ghosts and ghost hunting, but about history, as well as operating as fundraisers for historic preservation societies.)
Courtney Mroch is a globe-trotting restless spirit who’s both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, and obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days. Perhaps it has something to do with her genes? She is related to occult royalty, after all. Marie Laveau, the famous Voodoo practitioner of New Orleans, is one of her ancestors. (Yes, really! As explained here.) That could also explain her infatuation with skeletons.
Speaking of mystical, to learn how Courtney channeled her battle with cancer to conjure up this site, check out HJ’s Origin Story.
I would really love to be a part of the Eastern State Pen. event. That would be one very scary and fun place to be.
Agreed Julie! It’d be neat to go there anyway, but then to go as part of something like this…really cool and fun!
