“I want one!” was the first thing I thought when I watched the video about the Spirit Hallows Tombstone Box. A friend had tagged me as her plus one on Spirit Halloween’s giveaway post on Instagram. (Specifically, the person they love doing spooky things with as part of the giveaway requirement. Aww!) Five lucky people will win one.

I honestly don’t know what I would do with it. All I know is that I would love, love, LOVE to be one of the winners. Except, impatience got the best of me. I clicked on over to Spirit Halloween in search of one, all set to buy one, but to my horror, they weren’t there!
Noooooo!!!!
Trying to Dig Up a Spirit Hallows Tombstone Box
I tried everything to find them, too. First, I typed “tombstone box” in their search box. That didn’t work. (Although it did pull up a cute Haunted Mansion coffin trinket box.)
Since I’m a little lazy, I tried just searching “Spirit Hallows” next. (Why add more letters than necessary?) That took me to a “Welcome to Spirit Hallows Cemetery” sneak peeks screen and a “Directory of Residents,” which included:
- The Black Heart
- The Cauldroness
- Creepy Rising Doll
- Dagger Mike
- Darling Dolly
- Death Stalker
- Desmodus
- Eternal Rest
- Grave Watcher
- Heckles
- Hell Spawn
- Leatherface
- Poor George
- Slim
- Stilts
And then it all made sense. The Spirit Hallows Tombstone Box giveaway was part of the promo to hype Spirit Halloween’s newest tombstone decor.
Still, my stubborn (and suspicious) side wondered if the boxes were hidden. Maybe if I typed in the whole phrase “Spirit Hallows Tombstone Box,” it would lead me to them. Nope. Still nada.
So my only hope is to win one, but since Spirit is one of my affiliates, I’m pretty sure that disqualifies me from the contest. Drat.
Consolation Prize(s)
However, I didn’t leave my impromptu Spirit Halloween shopping excursion empty-handed. Here’s what I popped into my cart instead:
Disney’s The Haunted Mansion Newspaper Sign
Spinning Tarot Card
Beware of Hitchhiking Ghosts Tabletop Decoration
This will fit right in on my bookcase’s Haunted Mansion-themed shelf.
Gothic Romance Tablecloth
And this tablecloth will add spooky, skeleton glam to HJ HQ’s kitchen table this Halloween!

Would you want to win a Spirit Hallows Tombstone Box too?
Courtney Mroch is a globe-trotting restless spirit who’s both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, and obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days. Perhaps it has something to do with her genes? She is related to occult royalty, after all. Marie Laveau, the famous Voodoo practitioner of New Orleans, is one of her ancestors. (Yes, really! As explained here.) That could also explain her infatuation with skeletons.
Speaking of mystical, to learn how Courtney channeled her battle with cancer to conjure up this site, check out HJ’s Origin Story.
Tell me how to enter, and if I win, I’ll give it to you, Courtney!
Aww, thanks, Troy! I think the entry period has passed now, but I think you had to enter on Instagram.
