The other day I got the following email (see below) about a casting call for a new ghost show someone is trying to put together. I don’t have anymore info than what follows. Not what cable network it might air on or what the show might be called, but if you’re interested in being on TV, here’s a new chance.

THE EMAIL

Do you believe in Ghosts??? Do you think they possibly could exist?  Ever want to find out??

Now casting big personalities who have experienced or believe they’re experiencing paranormal activity (ghosts, demons, haunting, etc).

???We are open to hearing from anyone but we are especially interested in the following:

**People who believe their home, place of employment or unusual place is haunted.

**People with big Victorian, Plantation style, or Gothic homes  who they believe are haunted.

 or

People who believe in spirits, ghosts or the supernatural!

If this sound like this is you or someone you know, then a Major Cable network is looking for you!!

We need outgoing enthusiastic people who are interested in sharing their stories and participating in a search to find out the truth.

Please send your photo and story ASAP to: WEBLV12@GMAIL.COM

Must be located in the Los Angeles and surrounding area, over 18.

  1. I wouldn’t trust this one. It’s not a legit email account. We routinely get emails from A&E and their media production companies. All of the emails always come from the *person@mediacompany.com* If they don’t then they are likely a hoax trying to rip someone off somewhere. No legit company or agency uses personal email accounts for a project email blast.

Interesting Phil. I wrote them back to ask if I could post their email and they responded. They put a phone number too, but I wasn’t sure if that was just for me to call and ask Qs or what so I left it off. You are right though, even when Syfy and Travel Channel have contacted me through an outsourced social media or PR group, the email is usually not Gmail. Good catch. Might be best to be cautious about this one. Glad you noticed that and said something. I didn’t think anything about it.
