Illuminati

In the first part of this special series, guest contributor Chaz CMP explored how some rappers are embracing chaos magic. One of the artists he mentioned was the late Florida rapper Xxxtentacion, or X (as is easier to refer to him).

What’s the story of X’s demise? Did he discover the road to superstardom was paved with darker, more powerful ritual practices? Maybe even human sacrifice? Or did he fall victim to others who were more experienced with chaos magic? That’s what Chaz explores in part two of his three-part series.

Part Two: The Death of XXXtentacion, A Conspiracy
By Chaz CMP

If we take this idea that musicians and rappers are all chaos magicians, and we take it to the extreme, an interesting theory develops around the death of Xxxtentacion. If all artists are chaos magicians and rely on similar ritual practices to achieve results, then it is clear that the most successful artists are the most powerful chaos magicians.

One could assume that these powerful musician magicians have collected powerful symbols and rituals, which are commonly associated with secret societies. Famous musicians are constantly associated with occult societies, from the Freemasons to the all-powerful Illuminati.

These accusations are usually not helped by the musicians accused, as they tend to lean in. Artists like Kanye West and Lady Gaga intentionally use secret society imagery in their music videos and performances. In fact, many evangelical preachers claim that Lady Gaga’s Super Bowl 52 halftime show was actually a massive Satanic ritual, because of her use of these symbols.

Now to be fair, one of the most common themes of hip hop is money and power and these are the main themes of the Illuminati. So one could say it is just natural for these artists to be drawn to symbols that also reflect their art.

But that’s less fun, so for the sake of this article, we’re going to go with the assumption that all successful musicians are magicians and secret society members conspiring together.

Now if we already have this assumption, then it would be fair to say that one of the most powerful magicians and members would be the artist Drake.

Drake, the Illuminati and Xxxtentacion’s Instagram Accusation

Like I said previously, conspiracy theorists have thought for some time that musicians like Drake belong to the Illuminati. But more recently some newer conspiracies about the Toronto rapper have surfaced. This theory states that the rapper has used his powers and influence to kill his up-and-coming competitor, XXXtentacion.

Now here’s where it gets a little weird, and pretty crazy, so follow me here.

Four months before he was shot to death in Broward County Florida, Xxxtentacion posted a message to Instagram. The message claimed, “if anyone tries to kill me it was @champgnepapi (Drake’s Instagram handle) IM SNITCHING RN.”

The two had a mild beef over what X claimed was stolen beats and flows. Sometime before this post, Drake dropped a single titled “I’m Upset” and featured the line:

SMS, triple X
That’s the only time I ever shoot below the neck (skrr)
Why you keep on shootin’ if you know that nigg* dead? (skrr)
That’s the only kind of shit that gets you some respect

Some have speculated that “SMS” stands for “send my shooters.” It’s interesting to point out that Xxxtentacion was shot right below the neck multiple times.

However, this verse has never actually been tied to the dead rapper and was released before his murder.

But is it possible that Drake used the concepts of chaos magic to channel people’s energy into manifesting this result in the future? Did Drake sacrifice X much in the same way X tried to sacrifice Ski Mask?

Probably not. The official story is that his death was a robbery gone wrong. A Louis Vuitton bag full of cash was taken from the car and all suspects are now in custody.

“Mob Ties” and Louis Vuitton

It doesn’t really sound like a showdown of wizards, but it is still possible Drake “Sent His Shooters.” The rapper often claims to have gang affiliations. In fact, in the cleverly named song “Mob Ties” he states:

I’m sick of these nigg*s
I hired some help
To get rid of these nigg*s”

And according to the boyfriend of a famous Instagram model, he’s done this before. Younes Bendjima was beaten up by a group of men in a club and says they only attacked him after Drake had given them a “throat slashing” motion.

And we can all agree he certainly has the capital to “hire some help” for a job like this.

But perhaps a more suspicious lyric comes from him in the same song. The line goes: “Louis bags in exchange for body bags, yeah.”

If you picked up on that the Louis Vuitton bag was the target of the robbery, so did many others. This line sent the conspiracy to a viral level on Twitter for several days. It has since died down but many still stay convinced of Drake’s guilt.

XXXtentacion, Meteorites, and “Sicko Mode”

Rapper and close friend of X, Tankhead, restarted the speculation a few months later with several posts on social media. The outrage was inspired by the music video for the Travis Scott song “Sicko Mode.”

The song and the video both feature Drake. During Drake’s verse in the video, in the background, there’s a figure that is crushed by a meteorite. The figure does share a resemblance to XXXtentacion, as it is sporting one of his signature haircuts, the blond and black dreads.

The fact that he is shown to be hit by a meteorite is also significant. Most would call this an act of God, and perhaps reflects Drake’s belief that he is, in fact, all-powerful.

There has been no response from either the artists or the director of the video at this time.

Kanye West’s Tweet

Another suspicious detail emerged later the same year in December. Famous and controversial rapper Kanye West tweeted out at Drake, “So drake if anything happens to me or anyone from my family you are the first suspect…”

He did so as part of a large group of tweets addressing the ongoing beef between the two. It is eerily similar to the post that XXXtentacion made on Instagram a few months before his death.

Perhaps Kanye knows the truth about the demise of the young rapper, and fears a similar violent end to his beef with Drake? Either way, it shows at least one other artist who seemed to believe Drake of being capable of causing harm.

Conspiracy or reach?

Of course, song lyrics, music videos, and tweets are far from hard proof of a conspiracy. But it does make a more interesting story, and still, a few things can’t be denied. One, that Xxxtentacion was very involved in his own occult practices (read part one!). And two, he was certainly afraid of Drake. He made this clear with his Instagram posts.

Perhaps he discovered an extremely effective form of chaos magic that consumed him. Perhaps this is why he seemed to know his death was near and appears to address it in the video”‘SAD!” And maybe Drake was intimidated and completed the prophecy for him.

We may never know, but in the third and final part of this series, we’ll take a jaunt to Memphis, Tennessee, to explore the beginnings of Satanic rap.

Do you believe the Illuminati exists?

  1. That is wild about the Louis lyric and the Louis Vuitton bag. Do I believe the Illuminati exist? Sure. But, eh, if they really had their hands in everything, I think we’d hear more about them.

  2. That’s an interesting point, Priscilla. Or is it because they have their hands in everything that they control what we hear and it’s why we don’t hear more about them? {insert one raised eyebrow here and pinky finger on mouth, a la Dr. Evil.} LOL
