I’m really excited to be a part of Chateau Grrr’s “Cruise Against Lymphoma” Raffle. I mentioned this the other day, but now I’m free to promote it like crazy because tickets have gone on sale.

From now until 7 p.m. on Saturday August 14, 2010 you can buy a $25 raffle ticket which will give you a chance to win a trip aboard the 2010 Gothic Cruise. Here’s what that all entails:

  • 7 night cruise aboard the Carnival Liberty
  • Roundtrip from Miami, Florida with stops at Grand Cayman, Jamaica, Cozumel
  • Private concerts for you and fellow Goth cruisers by Covenant, Funker Vogt, Panzer AG, and Prognosis
  • Did we mention it’s an all you can eat and drink deal?
  • And that’s just the half of it!

It’s a prize package valued at $1,300 but it could be all yours for $25! (You’ll still have to pay for getting too and from Miami, but the cruise itself can be all yours for only $25!)

BENEFITS THE LYMPHOMA RESEARCH FOUNDATION

Chad from Chateau Grrr (who is the one generously supplying the cruise) has also generously agreed to donate all proceeds past $350 to the Lymphoma Research Foundation. (You may recall they were my charity of choice during the HJ Anniversary Bash.)

Why $350? Well, that’s what Carnival Cruise Lines charges for the processing fee to transfer the ticket to the winner’s name.

But anything collected above and beyond that goes to LRF. Pretty cool. That’s a charity near and very dear to my heart, so I’m deeply grateful to Chad for letting me pick it and for being willing to donate to them.

If I wasn’t going to just be getting back from a cruise right then, I would try to go on this one. (Something I believe I alluded to when I wrote about paranormal cruises earlier this year.)

So what are you waiting for? If you want to get your Goth on on a super cruise, this is the one for you. And all for only $25…have I already mentioned that? (It’s such a steal! Not to mention it’ll help a good cause.)

Oh, and it’d be fantastic if you could help spread the word about this. Thanks!
