The second half of the third season of Destination Fear returns on Saturday, November 6 when new episodes premiere on Travel Channel and discovery+.

Dakota Laden, Chelsea Laden, Tanner Wiseman and Alex Schroeder continue their “tour de terror” travels along the haunted highways, byways and back roads of America. However, in this half of the season, they also venture across the pond to Ireland!

As usual, the fear-chasing foursome will test their endurance as they explore and spend the night alone inside the most haunted and scariest places they can find.

But this season’s ending is epic because the team grabs their passports for their first-ever international destination together.

Let’s check out what this half of the season is all about, including a peek at all of the upcoming episodes.

Destination Fear S3 Part 2 Overview

In this latest quest for answers about fear and the paranormal, the group tackles new frontiers –literally. They explore in places they’ve never gone before and buildings that have never been investigated, such as the Indiana State Sanatorium.

They’ll once again use sensory deprivation tactics to augment their fear experiment and investigate under the harshest conditions they’ve ever faced. They put themselves to the test both mentally, physically and emotionally.

And in an epic excursion, Dakota, Chelsea, Tanner and Alex will head overseas to Ireland’s stormy coast – where they face ancient evils they’ve never seen before.

They encounter a whole new level of fear inside Loftus Hall, a 14th-century mansion with a curse. They also investigate Spike Island –one of Ireland’s most haunted and notorious prisons.

Destination Fear S3 Part 2 Premiere Episode

In the premiere episode, the foursome is stateside as they head to Twin Bridges Orphanage in Twin Bridges, Montana, an abandoned orphanage with a tragic and horrific history.

The utter sadness and devastation of the orphanage’s children permeate every corner of the building with a deep, dark energy. Yet, many claim this energy is not the children’s, but rather something much more ominous.

While childish apparitions and sounds are frequently heard, many believe an evil entity is masquerading as the innocent.

To connect with the dark energy, Dakota has planned an experiment and novel approach for the team that will burst their preconceived notions about the paranormal.

All four confront personal terrifying encounters, and Dakota finds himself communicating with someone –or something– that may not be what it seems.

  1. I’d love to see the Ireland episodes. I’ve never been to Ireland, and I don’t know anything about Spike Island. Both episodes would be a sociology and history lesson for me as well as a good ol’ haint hunt!

  2. Ironically, one of the times this crew was most weirded out and scared was when it became pretty clear that there was a living person, at least one – it was uncertain if there were two people, lurking on the property. As that presented a genuine real life threat, they really didn’t seem to like that AT ALL.

I love this! More proof people can be schooled by ghosts via the paranormal! I may work this into my book if that’s okay!

Maria!!! You reminded me about a part of the interview with them I’m not sure I released or not when this season first launched. I remember them commenting on that. I think I released that, but I have another part of that interview I had to cut…but can release now since these episodes have been announced. Thank you!!!

Yes. One that’s been a very long time in the making… oy!

  6. Hey, you fixed the issue with the photos! Must feel great! (What was the prior problem?)

Oooo! I’m so excited you even wrote here too! All I did was remove a bit of code. David from The Ghost Attic walked me through how he sets up his newsletter and when I shared with him how I do mine, he identified one of the codes was probably the issue. So I deleted it and wasn’t sure images would show at all. I was surprised to see they did, and seemed less blurry on my end. I was hoping that was the case for everyone. You confirmed it and I’m SO happy that’s one mystery finally solved! LOL
