Are you ready for Ghostober 2021? This year’s event isn’t just happening on Travel Channel. There is a lot of crossing over, between channels and shows. For instance, you’ll see Zak Bagans on Food Network’s Halloween Wars, which isn’t reflected in the programming highlights below.
But let me assure you, Ghostober is here. It officially starts on September 13 with another Food Network show, Halloween Baking Championship. To see a full rundown of all the Ghostober IV offerings, check out “Ghostober 2021 Thrills with Crossover Halloween Programming.”
However, Paranormal Caught on Camera, These Woods Are Haunted, and The Alaska Triangle are all also technically part of Ghostober festivities and all have new episodes premiering on both discovery+ and Travel Channel. Let’s take a closer look at where and when everything premieres from September 13–26 and take a peek at what their episodes will be about.

Which shows/episodes sound most interesting to you?
Courtney Mroch is a globe-trotting restless spirit who’s both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, and obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days. Perhaps it has something to do with her genes? She is related to occult royalty, after all. Marie Laveau, the famous Voodoo practitioner of New Orleans, is one of her ancestors. (Yes, really! As explained here.) That could also explain her infatuation with skeletons.
Speaking of mystical, to learn how Courtney channeled her battle with cancer to conjure up this site, check out HJ’s Origin Story.
Oh no, I was afraid you were going to ask that! EVERYTHING sounds intriguing, but I’m always up for Alaska stories, Sasquatch episodes, and The Dead Files. And what’s this? A RAINBOW UFO?!
OMG…how did I miss the description of the glittering rainbow UFO? See? This is why I’m glad I ask these questions. Once again you alerted me to something I had scanned right over!
