Forum Relaunched

I’m not sure anyone missed it, but earlier this year I took down the Forum. It never really got much action, as far as comments, but it did draw lots of views.

Well, actually let me back up. It did get some comments. The spammy kind. Right before I took it down I was deleting anywhere between 10 to 30 a day.

That’s the main reason I took it down for a while. I have a spam-blocker on posts that catches most of those. It filters them into a handy folder where all I have to do is hit a delete button to annihilate those. But I didn’t have anything convenient like that for Forum maintenance.

Anyway, I’ve missed the Forum. Sometimes stuff pops in my head that isn’t really appropriate for a whole blog post. I also didn’t want to inundate HJ’s FB page and Twitter feed with all that. (Too much sharing is not caring. It turns people off, burns them out, and makes them unlike/unfrien/unfollow.)

The solution? The Forum! It allows me to “purge” (for lack of a better word) the random thoughts, questions, and observations I sometimes have without overwhelming anybody else. It’s tucked safely away in its little spot. Only people who pay attention to the Latest Forums Discussions list on the sidebar or to the Forums tab on the menu will ever notice it.

So, today I relaunched it. With this question in the Paranormal Phenomenon section: Have you ever seen a full-bodied apparition?

I haven’t. Yet. I keep hoping I might. It might help rejuvenate my wonder. (I started out as more of a believer than a skeptic. But ever since I’ve been blogging about my paranormal travels and have studied more and more phenomenon, I’ve become more of a skeptic and less of a believer.)

Anyway, if you’ve seen a full-bodied apparition, I’d love to hear about it. Feel free to answer here on this post or in the newly relaunched Forum.
