Halloween Party Express Stop: Mommy D’s Kitchen

Something I did a lot last Halloween season was Haunt Jaunt around the Blogosphere to visit new and interesting sites. This year for the Halloween Blog Party I decided to ask for victims –er, I mean volunteers. These brave souls said, “Sure, come on over and visit!”

So here we go. The very first Party Express stop is going to be to Mommy D’s Kitchen.

If you’re on Facebook and/or Twitter I’m willing to bet you know the marvelous Mommy D. (I just love calling her that. Her real name, and the one you may be more familiar with, is Dinell Lamb Holmes.)

For sure if you follow HJ on FB or Twitter you’ve seen me interacting with her. She’s one of my very best online BFFs.

As usual, the amazing Mommy D is going above and beyond for Halloween. In addition to creating a super festive Halloween-themed header for her site, she’s also created quite the welcome for you, you Party Express tour goers. You absolutely MUST go check out her site and her fantastic welcoming graphic.

She’s also cooking up some Halloween fun in that kitchen of hers, such as:

  • Halloween treats on her Recipe Blog (Many of which are sugar-free for those of you trying to stay healthy this season!)
  • Neat crafts to do with kids on her FamilyFun Blog (First up, she’s got step-by-step instructions how to create Halloween luminaries using milk jugs. So clever!)
  • A special giveaway just for Halloween on her Mama’s Blog! (The prize is a good one too…an Amazon gift card!)
