Back in August, I was a guest on Keeping the Spirits Alive! hosted by John Tobin and Chip Reichenthal of Glory Haunt Hounds fame. I had a blast talking with John and Chip. I felt like we really clicked.
Well, apparently they had as much fun as I did. They’ve invited me back…except on a more regular basis.
I’m super excited to report they’ve offered me a five to ten minute spot on their show every other week called Haunt Jaunt of the Week. (So nice of them to work HJ into the name too!) I’ll be talking about a featured paranormal event or haunted place each time.
How freaking cool is that? Chuck Manning of Global Paranormal Network has been asking me to do a Haunt Jaunts show for a while. Trouble is, I have no idea where I’d find the time to squeeze in a weekly show. Plus, tackling a show all by myself seemed a bit intimidating.
But when John approached me with the idea of every other week for ten minutes? Oh yeah, I can swing that.
My debut spot is tonight. Keeping the Spirits Alive! starts at 8 p.m. EST.
Their guest tonight is the Rev. Tim Shaw from Black Cat Lounge, another Para-X show.
And who knows? If this goes well, maybe I’ll figure out it’s not as much work as I think and Chuck and I can figure out a time slot for me to do my own show.
But for now, I will enjoy starting this venture with John and Chip. Hope you’ll tune in!
Courtney Mroch is a globe-trotting restless spirit who’s both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, and obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days. Perhaps it has something to do with her genes? She is related to occult royalty, after all. Marie Laveau, the famous Voodoo practitioner of New Orleans, is one of her ancestors. (Yes, really! As explained here.) That could also explain her infatuation with skeletons.
Speaking of mystical, to learn how Courtney channeled her battle with cancer to conjure up this site, check out HJ’s Origin Story.
