I will be taking a brief hiatus from posting blogs on Haunt Jaunts during December. The year is drawing to a close and I still have yet to finish Shadyside, my horror novel, as well as Haunt Jaunts first book. Both have sort of been stuck in limbo the past few months due to the Gremlins who have decided it’s been hilarious to cause chaos at the worst possible times lately.
As a result, the end of the year is fast approaching, and my goals are still not met. It looks like it’s going to be necessary to take a few weeks break to take care of business.
I’ll still probably share links here and there on HJ’s Twitter and Facebook. But if the blog ends up lying dormant for a while, I wanted to explain why.
If I’m not back by the last week in December, I’ll for sure be back next year.
And if I don’t get a chance beforehand, I wish you and yours the happiest of holiday seasons. Hope to see you next year! (If not before…)
Courtney Mroch is a globe-trotting restless spirit who’s both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, and obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days. Perhaps it has something to do with her genes? She is related to occult royalty, after all. Marie Laveau, the famous Voodoo practitioner of New Orleans, is one of her ancestors. (Yes, really! As explained here.) That could also explain her infatuation with skeletons.
Speaking of mystical, to learn how Courtney channeled her battle with cancer to conjure up this site, check out HJ’s Origin Story.
You do whatever you need to get things done. I totally understand. I have the month of January set aside to finish my book and send it to the publisher. If I don’t get a chance on Twitter or Facebook, happy holidays to you and your family.
