I know, yet another face lift. This makes like how many in the past two months? I’ve lost count myself.
If I may, let me explain…
After Autumnforest and Susan left comments pointing out the small font on the other style I just picked last week, I couldn’t rest. But I haven’t had time to really sit and fiddle with finding a new one.
However, I realized yesterday as I sat down to write and was completely blocked that I had to find time today. It’s kind of like when my house or work space gets too out of control. I just can’t focus until I reign in some of the chaos. The words refuse to come out.
And do you know how frustrating that is when I have some big stories I want to break? It’s awful.
So, I apologize for all the tweaks. I’m hoping this is truly it this time. So far this has everything (and then some!) I want.
(Okay, I did make one concession. The font’s still a bit on the wee side, but not as wee as the other one was.)
But if the comments work fine and no one has problems with those, I’ll be in business. I won’t do another face lift until Halloween rolls around again. I promise!
Thanks for bearing with me. Tomorrow I hope to not only get back to writing, but also to following all of the other bloggers that I’ve been missing the past two and a half weeks.
Courtney Mroch is a globe-trotting restless spirit who’s both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, and obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days. Perhaps it has something to do with her genes? She is related to occult royalty, after all. Marie Laveau, the famous Voodoo practitioner of New Orleans, is one of her ancestors. (Yes, really! As explained here.) That could also explain her infatuation with skeletons.
Speaking of mystical, to learn how Courtney channeled her battle with cancer to conjure up this site, check out HJ’s Origin Story.
I do like the bigger font. I made ours bigger for all of those, myself included, that need help these days reading tiny print. This template is a nice one…..I like it.
I like it. Very clear and not all distracting. It’s also pretty colors–very soothing. Now, you may go forth and write lots of fun posts!
Hey, “soothing” was what they used to describe the theme! And I somehow figured out how to change the font. Googled it and others had had the same question so…I was able to figure it out!
Thanks for the comments and input. I’m sorry I’ve been absent from reading both of your blogs. I intend to change that here real soon though!
Oh, that was the other thing that was wrong with the last theme I chose…the links didn’t come up very clear either. I just now realized that was something else I didn’t like about it and why I was wanting to change again once I heard about the too small font. (which actually now I know how to fix, but I’m glad I learned with this one because there was more wrong with that other one than just the font now that I’m thinking about it…not that anyone needs to know all this. I just needed to get it off my chest.)
