Pardon the brief note. Just wanted to let everyone know Skellie and I will be taking a break from June 19-July 3, 2017 for vacation.
That’s why we’ve also been remiss in publishing many posts. If you’ve followed us for any length of time, you know we neglect the blog a bit more in the week or so before and after vacation. If you’re new to us, now you know!
What about the radio show?
If you listen to us on Tuesdays on ParaMania Radio, there will be encore shows playing June 20 and June 27.
We’ll be back on live on July 4th talking about our haunted vacations. (We’re hoping Brock might chime in too since it’ll be our first solo show sans a guest.)
One thing we hope to talk about is how we got to stay at the haunted Mayflower Park Hotel in Seattle, which guest contributor Matt Smith included in his list of five very haunted hotels.
Which we forgot about until we checked in, told a friend we were here, and he sent us our link with the note: “Are you in 1120? Beware the prankster.”
We stayed in 1011. Darn.
Jaunt with Us on Social Media
We won’t have much Internet access, but we will have some. Very limited though.
However, when we can we will be sharing photos and such. Primarily to our Instagram account, but here and there to our Facebook page and Twitterhttps://twitter.com/HauntJaunts too.
Courtney Mroch is a globe-trotting restless spirit who’s both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, and obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days. Perhaps it has something to do with her genes? She is related to occult royalty, after all. Marie Laveau, the famous Voodoo practitioner of New Orleans, is one of her ancestors. (Yes, really! As explained here.) That could also explain her infatuation with skeletons.
Speaking of mystical, to learn how Courtney channeled her battle with cancer to conjure up this site, check out HJ’s Origin Story.
