That”s not me in the photo, but it”s definitely how I feel. Today when I made my first post I noticed every time I hit save I ended up with an extra apostrophe.

I thought it was something I”d done. (Silly me. Why”d I hit shift and put in quotes instead of apostrophes?)

Except, I quickly realized it wasn”t me. It”s adding them automatically. WTF? (Even if it”s right when I go to publish, it comes out doubled when it is published…ARGH!!!!!!!!!!)

So I went back and changed every sentence that used apostrophes to a structure that wouldn”t need them. Hence, the result was a very proper sounding post. Not the more casual way I like to write.

I then searched for a solution. I came across a blog about how to fix the problem in a WordPress forum. It seems to be a super post. Great info. But I don”t understand how to implement any of it. I left a comment and hope he”ll get back to me with some suggestions.

Until then, please bear with me. There might be double apostrophes in a number of my posts until I get the matter resolved!

Or I may be writing and avoiding apostrophes. At any rate, now you know why.

Dang it! And I have a bunch of fun things I want to write about today. I don”t want them all to be marred by this punctuation plague!!! Why is it every time I”m super excited about something I have freaking hiccups like this to deal with? &*&^%!!!!!!
