Do you love true crime? I mean, to the point you’re obsessed with it? I’d ask if you’d also like to earn a couple thousand dollars too, but I’m pretty sure I already know the answer to that one: who wouldn’t? Especially if it involved doing something you love, like binging true crime for a day, right?

Well, according to an article from KNBR, this is the second time MagellanTV has offered to pay a true crime fanatic to watch their favorite genre. However, the first time they only offered one person $1,000 for their 24 hour binge. This time, they’re looking for three people to do it and will pay them each $2,400 —that’s $100 for every hour they watch!

If this sounds like something you’d be interested in applying for, check out the details below for MagellanTV’s 2nd Annual True Crime Watch Dream Job. It details how to apply, by when, and what you have to do specifically while you’re binging. Because, of course, there’s more to it than just kicking back and getting comfy on your couch.

Qualifications

The “ideal candidates” for this job “can handle the most menacing serial killer, the goriest details, and don’t flinch at the chilling paranormal.”

If you possess the ability to stay up for 24 hours straight, that’s a definite bonus.

You also must know how —and not be afraid to— stream your “True Crime all-nighter on social media.” But, heck, if serial killers and the paranormal don’t phase you, streaming should be a piece of cake.

  1. I do like true crime television. Forensic science is fascinating! But I dunno if I could stay awake for 24 hours straight.:-)
