The launch of discovery+ at the beginning of this year ended up upsetting a lot of Travel Channel fans. They were faced with a new reality: season premieres for all of their favorite shows were now premiering on the streamer instead. Would they eventually come to Travel Channel too? And if so, when?

Well, thanks to the Travel Channel paranormal programming highlights for April 12-25, we now have the answer to all of that. Shows like Ghost Nation, Expedition Bigfoot, The Holzer Files, and more with new seasons that premiered on discovery+ will make their way to Travel Channel.

Eventually.

In some cases, the gap hasn’t been very long. We’re talking only a month or so, like with Aliens in Alaska. In others, like Ghost Nation, it’s been almost three months.

In the case of Ghost Nation, there was something else fans missed: live Tweeting.

That’s definitely something the new “premiere on discovery+ first” model took away: an interaction opportunity. Specifically, live Tweeting with the cast and other viewers while watching the show.

So now that episodes are debuting on Travel Channel, will Ghost Nation be live Tweeting again?

Yes!

  1. Since I’m an early bird, I rarely stay up late enough to watch the first run good shows, definitely “on demand” for me.:-)

  2. The “School Spirits” episode sounds interesting. I hope they can help the owner!
