Recently I got an email about pre-sale tickets for a Josh Gates Live tour. My first thought was, “Josh Gates on tour?” My second was, “Here? In Nashville?”

I briefly wondered about the price, but unless it was some cuckoo crazy outrageous one, they’d be worth just about anything. (They’re actually super reasonably priced. $35-55! As of this post, there were a few closer to the stage between $149-170, though.)

Like Stephen King did when his tour stopped in Nashville, Josh Gates will appear at the historic, storied (and haunted!) Ryman Auditorium in downtown Nashville. (Unlike Stephen King, though, Gates’ tickets are more affordable. King’s were $200+ on up. Even if I’d been able to afford them, however, it wouldn’t have mattered. King’s sold out fast.)

Josh Gates will be here in Nashville on March 1. (I’m going!)

But then I wondered where else he’d be touring. Here’s what I found out:

There are only 12 of them in 2020. Seven stops in winter. Five in the fall. A few are tied to other events, as noted.

  3. February 9: Columbus, Ohio – AAA Great Vacations Travel Expo
  4. February 22: Denver, Colorado – The Travel & Adventure Show
  5. February 28: Charlotte, North Carolina
  6. February 29: Atlanta, Georgia – The Travel & Adventure Show
  7. March 1: Nashville, Tennessee
  8. September 19-20: Lexington, Kentucky
  9. October 22: Glenside, Pennsylvania
  10. October 23: Red Bank, New Jersey
  11. October 24: Tarrytown, New York
  12. October 25: Morristown, New Jersey
