Krampusnacht Eve 2020 Giveaway Winners and Stats

I know everyone who entered is dying to know if they’re a lucky winner in the Krampusnacht Eve Winner’s Choice 2020 Giveaway.

Which, I’m thinking of making an annual thing. I kind of dig how this worked out this year. I mean, I try to do a holiday giveaway if I can, but I think I finally found a name and method I like –using Krampus and making it a winner’s choice thing. If you liked it too, let me know.

Okay, so before I get to the winners of this year’s holiday giveaway, let’s look at some of the stats.

Total Number of Entries

There were 59 total entries, including Insta and newsletter subscriber bonus entries.

These were the five most popular prize picks starting in order from the one that was chosen most.

Only One Multiple Winner

There was a chance for entrants to win more than once because you could enter here on the blog and on Instagram. There were also newsletter subscribers bonus entries, as well as Insta bonus entries up for grabs if you tagged people you never hope Krampus visits.

Blog Entries vs. Instagram Entries

I don’t use Twitter for HJ anymore, or Facebook for that matter, but even when I did neither ever seemed to accumulate entries for contests like Instagram does.

Sometimes it seems Instagram gets more contest entry engagement than the blog even, but this time it was about equal. And many people who entered here also entered on Insta or vice-versa. That’s not always the case either.

I wonder if 2020 has anything to do with it? Maybe people are running around less and staying home so they have time to enter in both places?

I don’t know, but I found it interesting.

Winners also came from a good mix of both the blog and Insta too.

Well, four from regular entries, because one lucky person won twice, but also one of the wins was from tagging someone so that person now can either claim the same gift as the winner or pick from one of the other prizes!

I decided to include photos of which Skeleton Crew member picked which winner. I’ve also included a quick video below that I put together of the drawing and winners too.

I always like to show that, yep. We do really write down entires, note where they came from, and put them in a bag to draw from. Normally it’s the Boo Bucket, but I decided to class it up a little for the holidays with a velvet pouch.
