Welcome! Whether you’re a  regular reader and returning visitor, or you found your way here via the fiberdoodles Halloween Blog Party, I am certainly glad to have you! Come on in. I’ve been bursting to get the party started!

TRICKS AND TREATS

Regular readers know just how excited I’ve been. I have lots of treats to giveaway, but I couldn’t wait until today to get the festivities going so I held a Halloween Dinner & a Decoration Pre-Party Giveaway. I  drew the winner for that last week. (But my drawings have a bit of a twist. More on that later.)

Missed the pre-party giveaway? Dang. But you might have noticed the word “pre.” As in it was a precursor to the BIG giveaway I’ll be doing over the next 13 days –starting today!

Actually, giveaways would be more precise. From now until Halloween I’ll be giving away five gift cards, three books, and one game. Here’s the complete list of treats up for grabs:

  • $10 BP Gas Gift Card
  • $10 Starbucks Gift Card
  • $25 Shutterfly Gift Card
  • $25 AMC Movie Theater Gift Card
  • $50 Best Western Hotel Gift Card
  • Nancy Drew: Haunting of Castle Malloy computer game
  • Hardcover copy of Joe Hill’s Heart-Shaped Box
  • Haunted Cemeteries of New England*
  • Haunted Hikes of New Hampshire*

*These treats were donated by our special guest sponsor PublishingWorks.

So now that you’re here, let’s get this party started shall we?

FIBERDOODLES-INSPIRED HALLOWEEN BLOG PARTY GIVEAWAY #1

Decisions, decisions…Which treat should I hold a drawing for first? I can’t decide.

Since there was such a great response to the video-recorded drawing of the pre-party winner, let’s break out the Halloween Hat and let it do the deciding again!

(If you missed the pre-party giveaway drawing, then you missed an actual drawing. I always wonder if bloggers who hold drawings really draw the entries. You’re not going to wonder that with my giveaway!)

So what did the Halloween Hat decide? You’re going to have to watch the video to find out. (Don’t worry, it’s not long. But I’ll also let you in on a little secret…if you don’t want to watch me make a fool of myself, come back at noon CST. I’ll post another blog explaining what trick will enter you in the drawing for a chance to get the treat!)
