Mission Unexplained premiered in Canada in March, but it was a series I hoped we’d see in the U.S. Partly because it included eyewitness UFO/UAP accounts from Military Police Officers, Staff Sergeants, U.S. Marines, Lance Corporals, and U.S. Air Force medics, but also because it boasted a monumental moment. Air Force veteran Gary Kent Carroll, the highest-ranked military official to ever share his story, broke his silence after 55 years. That sounded like a very compelling reason to watch.
Well, thanks to a Discovery Channel, Science Channel, and Animal Planet programming update, we now know where and when the Mission Unexplained U.S. debut will happen: Tuesday, May 23 at 10 pm ET/PT on Science Channel.
Let’s take a peek at its show description, as well as the info for Ghost Adventures, which makes its Discovery debut this month, and the return of Expedition Unknown.

Check-In
Which of the May 2023 Science, Discovery, and/or Animal Planet debuts do you plan on watching?
Courtney Mroch is a globe-trotting restless spirit who’s both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, and obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days. Perhaps it has something to do with her genes? She is related to occult royalty, after all. Marie Laveau, the famous Voodoo practitioner of New Orleans, is one of her ancestors. (Yes, really! As explained here.) That could also explain her infatuation with skeletons.
Speaking of mystical, to learn how Courtney channeled her battle with cancer to conjure up this site, check out HJ’s Origin Story.
The Ghost Adventures Lake of Death episode sounds interesting to me because the hubster and I once ran a Marathon around the lake!
What? In addition to a swimmer, you’re a runner too? And not just any kind…a marathoner! WOW! And how cool you did one around Lake Mead!
So, is GA going to stop at four episodes now? TVDB doesn’t have anymore in TBA status.
Great question, Troy. “The Stow House Haunting” episode premieres today so maybe your listing just isn’t showing it yet?
