Dang it, dang it, dang it! I was so excited when I stumbled across some info about a 30 Days of Night sequel last week when looking up Kiele Sanchez. (I LOVED her in A Perfect Getaway and wanted to find out what else she’d been in.)

Anyway, I happened to notice one of her upcoming projects was 30 Days of Night: Dark Days. I instantly set about trying to find more info, a trailer, anything.

Here’s some of the stories that I found about it:

  • 30 Days of NightL Dark Days To Be a “War” Movie
  • ’30 Days of Night: Dark Days’ Unleashes First Set Image
  • A 30 Days of Night: Dark Days Preview

Didn’t find any trailers posted yet. (That’s why the “Dang it, dang it, dang it!”)

But I did find this image from the movie on a lot of posts. (I took this one from Shockya.com.)

I don’t know how good the sequel will be. From what I gather it’s set in L.A. this go around. Alaska was just a cool, unusual setting for a horror movie. Wished they’d kept it there.

However, Kiele rocks. Very much looking forward to seeing her in it. (Wish Josh Hartnet would be in it again too but…phooey.)

FYI

Although, be still my beating heart swoony-worthy that Josh Hartnet is, I’m still going to get a chance at satisfying my eye candy sweet tooth.

If, like me, you were equally allured by Kiele’s love interest in A Perfect Getaway, Nick played by hunky Timothy Olyphant (who was also awesome in the movie, and, IMO, the two of them together stole the show!), he’s in the soon-to-be-released movie The Crazies which I’m also excited to see.

And I do have a trailer of that, so I posted it below.

  1. 30 days of night sequel, huh? Man, if they don’t set it in Alaksa, I’m not interested. They would have to have the same people doing the makeup and directing and writing and all for me to appreciate it being done in LA. Darn! In mid summer, I put that movie on a few times and darken the house and turn the air conditioner to a cold setting and just curl up for a while and remember what cold feels like–and scary, of course! Great find–I’ll have to follow that and see how it develops.

  2. Well with the “Wolfman” down, “The Crazies” are definitely next on my to-see hit list. I may even go opening day just to irk you.

And OMG! Another “30 Days of Night”?!?!?!? You do know that Steve Niles is my idol, right? L.A. or Alaska, I’ll be there.

  3. I have seen that this movie has been HBO but I haven’t seen it yet. I suppose I better get with it, quit being a chicken, and just watch it, lol.

  4. LOL Autumnforest! I actually remember your post when you said you used it to cool off from the brutal heat last summer!

Grim: Oh you’re cruel. Just as cruel as me. AWESOME! But I did not know Steve Niles was your idol. Learned something new!

Julie: It is the best scariest vamp movie in a long time. No love story stuff. Just horror. (well, not with the vamps there’s no love story teenager stuff.) It’s pretty gruesome. One no one would begrudge you for being a chicken not watching!
