Thanks to Alan Hudson sending me a Facebook Fan Page suggestion for “After.Life,” I actually have a movie trailer clip to share for Movie Monday today!  Not only that, but it looks like a good one.

You may have already heard about it, but it’s a new-to-me movie. And it’s something chilling and psychologically twisted that’s right up my alley.

Plus, it’s loaded with talent. Just the other day I was thinking it’s been a while since I’ve seen Christina Ricci in anything. She’s in this one. (Along with Liam Neeson and Justin Long.)

And did I mention it looks chilling and psychologically twisted?

Here’s the tag lines:

Life is the symptom. Death is the cure.

How do you save yourself when you’re already dead?

Basically, after an argument with her boyfriend (Justin Long), Christina Ricci storms off and gets in a fatal car accident. Her body’s taken to the funeral home for preparation, where the funeral director (Liam Neeson) has a gift for helping the dead transition to their afterlife.

But that’s just it…is Christina even really dead? Or is Liam hell bent on burying her alive?

I’m looking forward to finding out. I’m not sure if Nashville will have one of the select theaters After.Life opens in on April 9th, but I hope so. This is one I just may be able to drag Wayne to the theater to see with me. (He’s also a Christina Ricci fan.)

You both probably already knew about it, knowing how you’re always in the know. (Esp. you Autumnforest with your movie lists and such. I just couldn’t remember seeing this one on any of yours. If I did, I apparently overlooked it. Maybe that George Romero one was listed with it and that’s why. I see him and forget all else!)

Anyway, now I know about it and am excited to see it!
