We’ve been very busy around here updating pages. It started with the addition of the new Macabre and Unusual Tours page.
It was while we were seeing what new tours our affiliates were offering that we discovered some didn’t qualify as strictly your traditional ghost tour. Like the Plymouth Historic Cemetery Tour from Trusted Tours or the Atlanta Zombie Film Locations Tour on Viator.
Creepy and macabre, yes, but not quite a ghost tour. (Hence the creation of the Macabre and Unusual Tours page.)
However, while creating the new page we couldn’t help but notice a bunch of neat new ghost tours, especially on Viator.
New ones we added to the Ghost Tours (U.S.) from Viator page include:
* Gettysburg Paranormal Investigation Tour
* Ghost Hunt in Goodsprings from Las Vegas
* Savannah Warehouse Ghost-Hunting Tour
* Savannah Haunted Trolley Tour and 2-day Hop-on Hop-off Pass
We also had a bunch of new ones to add to the International Ghost Tours page.
* Edinburgh Ghost Tour by Vintage Bus
* Gold Coast Ghost Walking Tour
* Jack the Ripper and Sherlock Holmes Tour of Haunted London
* Jamaica Super Saver: Montego Bay and Rose Hall Tour plus Luminous Lagoon Night Cruise
* London Ghost Tour by Vintage Bus
* Madrid Myths and Legends Evening Walking Tour
* York Ghost Tour by Vintage Bus
While we were at it, we revamped pages and categorized tours by state or country, as applicable. (We’d previously had them in alphabetical order but we hope this makes them a little easier to browse.)
Also, we have to mention that as in the nature of affiliate relationships, should you book a tour after clicking through to Viator from our site, we’ll earn a commission. Thank you! That’s how we cover site maintenance expenses.
However, we sought affiliations because we’re familiar with the companies, having used them ourselves.
For instance, in November we’re headed out on our 11th cruise. This time we’ll be taking off from Venice.
Guess what Viator has? Yep. A Venice Ghost Walking Tour.
You better believe I’ve already looked into booking it to see if we can make it fit with our schedule.
Courtney Mroch is a globe-trotting restless spirit who’s both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, and obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days. Perhaps it has something to do with her genes? She is related to occult royalty, after all. Marie Laveau, the famous Voodoo practitioner of New Orleans, is one of her ancestors. (Yes, really! As explained here.) That could also explain her infatuation with skeletons.
Speaking of mystical, to learn how Courtney channeled her battle with cancer to conjure up this site, check out HJ’s Origin Story.
