The Tennessee Wraith Chasers investigate Nashville’s Two Rivers Mansion live on October 19, 2018.

Built by David H. McGavock in 1859, the mansion was once the center of an 1,100-acre plantation and home to the McGavock family for three generations.

The remains of nearly 100 Native Americans were found during its construction, but they were never returned to rest. Instead, the owner decorated the property fence with their skulls and the children used the burial war clubs as toys.

Today, people visiting the mansion feel an immediate presence and the phantom sounds of footsteps are common.

The female apparition of Lula McGavock wanders the grand halls. Her baby died of a mysterious illness at a young age and she died shortly after.

The neighboring 1802 house, where the family lived during construction of the mansion, houses a dark energy that has been known to bring people to tears.

Could this be the disturbed spirits of the unearthed Native Americans? Is this dark energy the reason why Lula seems to be trapped in the mansion?
