Clue: Coronavirus. Lockdowns. Murder hornets. Saharan dust invasion. Riots and social unrest. Answer: 2020. Perfect year for opening the Dybbuk box, right?
Who knows? But we’re going to find out because that’s exactly what Zak Bagans and the rest of the Ghost Adventures team did.
Tune-in for the epic finale of Travel Channel’s four-part miniseries, Ghost Adventures: Quarantine, on Thursday, July 2 at 9pm ET/PT.
The Episode
In the chilling new episode, Zak and team finally open the infamous Dybbuk box, unleashing its sinister influence. (Okay, that may be a **spoiler alert.**)
You know we’ve all been waiting for him to do it. And he’s clearly been waiting for the right time to do it on TV. What better time than now, amidst rising COVID-19 cases and heightened levels of fear and uncertainty?
Zak, Aaron, Billey and Jay quarantined themselves for 10 days inside Zak Bagans’ Haunted Museum in Las Vegas, Nevada. What did the team discover about how this unprecedented time has impacted the dark energies attached to the world’s most haunted objects housed inside the museum?
And what about the Dybbuk box specifically? From causing horrific nightmares and physical welts in previous owners to cursing Post Malone, the Dybbuk box is said to hold a malicious spirit whose evil is released when the box is opened. (Or, in Malone’s case, just touching someone else who’s touching it.)
What happens when Zak opens it?
We have a tease from Travel Channel that Zak reveals a terrifying secret -with visual evidence– when the Ghost Adventures crew investigates the Dybbuk box in the Haunted Museum.
Are they risking everything on the final night when they prepare to open the cursed relic in this supercharged atmosphere?
More importantly, are they unleashing even more chaos into the world? If so, keep that ‘effing box shut! #EnoughIsEnough
(But at least they were responsible by wearing masks and social distancing.)

Courtney Mroch is a globe-trotting restless spirit who’s both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, and obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days. Perhaps it has something to do with her genes? She is related to occult royalty, after all. Marie Laveau, the famous Voodoo practitioner of New Orleans, is one of her ancestors. (Yes, really! As explained here.) That could also explain her infatuation with skeletons.
Speaking of mystical, to learn how Courtney channeled her battle with cancer to conjure up this site, check out HJ’s Origin Story.
