2012 P&E Readers Poll

Well, we’re only the second day into 2013 and already we have some exciting news to share. Earlier today Pamela K. Kinney shared some good news with me. She found out that her guest blog, Tribute to Professor Cline’s Haunted Monster Museum—Natural Bridge, Virginia, has been nominated in the “Nonfiction article published in 2012” category of the Preditors & Editors Readers Poll.

Please help us in extending our hearty congratulations to Pamela. CONGRATS, Pamela!

If you want to do a bit more, consider heading on over and casting a vote for her post. We think it’d be exciting for her to win.

You can cast one vote in each category. (They have all kinds of categories, from various genres of print and ebooks to short stories, anthologies and everything in between!) Polls close January 14, 2013.

We already cast our vote. They also let you add comments. As we said in our comment, we’re biased so that’s why Pamela’s guest blog got our vote in this category, but the reason we liked it enough to publish it in the first place was because it’s a good reminder that the places you want to visit might not always be there. If you get a chance to go, go. Make it happen. Make the memories. You’ll always treasure them later, perhaps even more so if tragedy does strike and makes it so you can’t visit a place again.

We feel very fortunate Pamela had a chance to document her visit to Professor Cline’s Monster Museum before it burned down, and that she shared it with us. (She also wrote about it in her book, Haunted Virginia: Legends, Myths, and True Tales.
