If you’ve followed me for a while now, you’ve likely realized how pokey I can be. If you haven’t, well…there you have it. I’m pokey, just so you know.
Back at the start of the summer, I was fed up with my weight. I was looking for a new way to make fitness fun. I put a post on HJ’s Facebook page asking if anyone else might be interested in trying some freaky fitness with me.
I’ve had an idea for a freaky fitness plan simmering for months, but it only recently manifested itself into a full-fledged action. And of course once I knew exactly what I wanted to do, I had no time to sit down and flesh it out –until now.
Today I wrote my first post on my new blog: Alien Invasion Zombie Apocalypse Fitness. It’s a whole new approach to working out and dieting.
I’m not leaving Haunt Jaunts. I’ll still continue to post here. But if you’re interested in fitness with a freaky twist, I’ll be sharing fitness tips and workout ideas over there.
P.S.
Did you know October 8 is World Zombie Day?
Courtney Mroch is a globe-trotting restless spirit who’s both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, and obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days. Perhaps it has something to do with her genes? She is related to occult royalty, after all. Marie Laveau, the famous Voodoo practitioner of New Orleans, is one of her ancestors. (Yes, really! As explained here.) That could also explain her infatuation with skeletons.
Speaking of mystical, to learn how Courtney channeled her battle with cancer to conjure up this site, check out HJ’s Origin Story.
