On February 1, 2021, rapper Post Malone was a guest on Late Night with Seth Myers. In addition to marble beer pong tables and Malone’s GRAMMYs, they also talked underground bunkers, Malone’s experience with the Dybbuk box at Zak Bagans’ Haunted Museum, and UFOs.

Post Malone’s Plans for His Underground Bunker

Early on Malone apologized for some noise in the background, explaining he was having some construction done. That was the perfect segue for Myers who asked if the construction had to do with the underground bunker he’d heard that Malone was having built.

Malone chuckled and said it could be…or maybe it had to do with the marble beer pong tables and other fun stuff he was building.

Malone then elaborated that the bunker was coming and maybe he could keep his GRAMMYs in there, which is when Myers said, “GRAMMYs in a bunker is just…feels like…I mean, a wonderful outcome.”

To which Malone said, “That’s pretty baller!”

All of that sounds like a title of a song or an album to me. Maybe something like “Baller GRAMMYs in a Bunker”?

Anyway, then the conversation morphed from does Malone’s construction crew know who he is to how is he enjoying his time in Utah. Very much apparently. L.A. was “a lot” and he can chill and have some space in Utah…with him and 30 of his closest friends that can stay over in his bunk room. Which Myers was envious of because he doesn’t have 30 friends.

But Myers wanted to know if Malone ever saw an occasion he’d really have 30 friends visiting all at once. Malone said no, but if things ever go down, he wants to have enough room because “you never know who you’re gonna have show up at your front door.” He doesn’t want to turn anyone away and feels it’s better to be safe than sorry. Aw! He seems so nice!

Why Zak Bagans Gets a Spot in the Bunker

Then Seth asked about Malone’s beliefs in the supernatural. Seth said that he’s not a believer but he hasn’t really encountered anything that’s made him a skeptic, which I think he meant to say he hasn’t encountered anything to make him a believer.

His next faux pas came when he said he knew Malone was on Ghost Hunters. Nope. That’d be Ghost Adventures. But I’m cutting him a break because of the fact that Seth Myers was talking about any paranormal shows at all. Kudos to him!

But then either Malone couldn’t remember the name of Zak’s show himself or he didn’t want to correct Myers because he didn’t want to make him feel awkward (which is what my Spidey Senses felt was the case because he’s just so darn polite!). But he did say that after going ghost hunting with Zak and staying at his museum in Vegas, things changed.

He also gave Zak a shout out, saying, “I love you, Zak. Text me.”

After which Seth wanted to know if Zak Bagans was one of the people who would get a spot in Malone’s bunker.

Absolutely! (Even though I’m willing to bet Zak may already have one of his own.)

But the best part is why he’ll make room for Zak: Demons!

“Because there’s going to be a whole bunch of them running around,” Malone explained.

If they need to fight off any demons after the apocalypse, Zak is obviously the go to guy to get the job done!

Malone’s Life Post-Dybbuk Box

Here’s what Malone had to say about his experience after he was with Zak when he opened the Dybbuk box:

You know, it’s weird, because after we opened up this creepy Dybbuk box, I got in a car accident, I got in, like, almost had a plane wreck, my house got broken into, all that type of stuff…. Within a month’s time, it was really, really odd stuff.

He then admitted he’s always had an interest in the paranormal and has had experiences at a friend’s house. I wish he’d elaborated more on that, but Myers didn’t go there.

Post Malone, UFOs and Night-Vision Goggles

Myers did, however, question Malone about his belief that he’s seen what he thought was a UFO. To which Malone said, “Yeah! Hell yeah! And especially here in Utah. Things are creepy if you look up into the sky.”

Apparently, he sometimes goes out at 4 a.m. with his night-vision goggles just to see what he might see.

Which made for a funny exchange when Myers asked if his neighbors could see him and what do they think. Malone said he doesn’t really have neighbors but he did recently learn a development with 40 houses is going up nearby.

Myers was all, “The real estate agent’s saying like ‘These houses are great, they have a view of Post Malone’s place.'”

Malone said, “Right. They have no idea what I get up to over here.”

Myers joked, “They’re like, ‘Don’t be…at night…There’s a man…will wander out with his night-vision goggles. Don’t overreact to that.”
