I have a Secrets of Sulphur Springs update for you. In case you’ve been waiting for it to start streaming and sort of forgot about it. (Like I did because I figured we’d have to wait months for it to start streaming.)

The live-action time-travel paranormal mystery series originally premiered on the Disney Channel on Friday, January 22.

At the time I first wrote about the series, I wasn’t sure how long we’d have to wait for it to hit the streamer. I figured it’d be sometime later this year, but how much later? Months? Perhaps closer to October and Halloween season? Maybe (hopefully) sooner?

Last night I realized it was already on Disney+!

What? When had that happened?

I did some digging and here’s what I found.

If you’re interested. After all, I’ve already answered the most important question in this Secrets of Sulphur Springs update: Yes, it is now streaming on Disney+!

Secrets of Sulphur Springs Storyline

The Secrets of Sulphur Springs is about Griffin Campbell (Preston Oliver), who isn’t too psyched about his family’s move to Sulphur Springs, Louisiana. His dad has bought an old hotel, The Tremont, to fix up. Apparently, it used to be a popular vacation spot…until tragedy struck. Can Griffin’s family bring it back to life?

The trouble is, the rumor around town is that the hotel is haunted. Will this make Griffin an instant outcast in his new school? Who knows, but it doesn’t stop Harper (Kyliegh Curran) from becoming his new best friend. She says plenty of people have reported seeing the ghost of a little girl, Savannah (Elle Graham), around the hotel. Savannah disappeared years ago and that’s partly why The Tremont shut down.

Harper also assures Griffin it won’t be long before he sees Savannah’s ghost either —and she’s right. They both do. But what happens when Harper and Griffin discover a way to go back in time? Will they be able to figure out why Savannah disappeared? Or, better yet, stop it from happening?

After I spotted the series on Disney+ last night, I dug around to see exactly when it had hit the streamer. I wanted to know how long it had been there.

Awhile, if the info I gleaned from What’s on Disney Plus is accurate. They reported that Disney announced it would release the first five episodes to Disney+ the following week after it first premiered on Disney Channel, with new episodes following each week thereafter until all 11 were out.

Dang it. It’s been there since Friday, January 26th!

Oh well. I found it now. That’s all that matters. And there are plenty of episodes so I can binge at will!
