Yesterday I had to take my cat Mr. Meow in for some blood work. As we pulled up to the vet’s office we found it had been transformed for Halloween. It had taken on a rather haunted appearance.
The bushes out front were covered in cobwebs, and poking out of them were skulls and scary eyes.
Inside, ghosts danced on the ceiling and spiders crawled along on the walls.
I guess you could say it was one haunted vet’s office that really got into the spirit of Halloween!
Courtney Mroch is a globe-trotting restless spirit who’s both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, and obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days. Perhaps it has something to do with her genes? She is related to occult royalty, after all. Marie Laveau, the famous Voodoo practitioner of New Orleans, is one of her ancestors. (Yes, really! As explained here.) That could also explain her infatuation with skeletons.
Speaking of mystical, to learn how Courtney channeled her battle with cancer to conjure up this site, check out HJ’s Origin Story.
Awesome! Wish my vets office did something like that. This PC takes the fun out of things 🙂
Thanks for sharing I love seeing what is going on at other ends of the world.
Cheers!
YAY! I’m glad you liked it. I was happy they did something too, because like you said these days people don’t because of the whole PC nonsense!
That is cool, but if someplace I worked did that I just know I would be the one designated to clean it up before Monday morning.
