Skellie’s Skareporium: Did We Do the Right Thing?

Skellie is taking on yet even more responsibilities around here.

In addition to Skellie Shout Outs, his Tuesday night break song DJ duties on our radio show, and getting his own email (skellie@hauntjaunts.net if you want to hit him up for a shout out!), we’ve now given him author access and his very own section on the site: Skellie’s Skareporium.

Skellie the Shopper

Did you know Skellie is quite the shopper?

Mostly online of course. He sort of freaks people out when he accompanies me to brick and mortars.

He especially loves Halloween shopping. (It’s something we have in common.)

If you’ve been with us a while you might remember once upon a time we had a Scareporium where we featured favorite things from our affiliates.

Skellie’s Skareporioum is sort of going to revive that concept. Sort of.

Not Just Affiliate Merch

Skellie will have free reign to post whatever tickles his fancy.

It might be merchandise he comes across from our affiliates, like he did with his very first Skellie’s Skareporium post: Skellie Digs Up Spirit Halloween’s Best Bones.

Or it might be things he sees from other retailers we have no affiliation with.

It might not even have to do with merchandise at all. There’s really no telling what Skellie might share.

(Yes, we know “emporiums” are usually stores that sell things, and Skellie does hope people will be enticed to buy some of the wares he shares. Especially from our affiliates since we’ll receive a commission from that. But other things catch his fancy too, like crafts and projects so…we’ll see what he “stocks” his little niche of the site with.)

Be On The Lookout

If you like Halloween decorations, costumes, food, projects, etc. too, keep an eye on Skellie’s Skareporium for his latest posts.

Only time will tell if we’ll regret this or not…

(Naw. We know he’ll do a good job. He’s very excited about it!)
