From the doctors and nurses to the police, fire, EMTs, delivery drivers, grocery store workers and everyone in between who’s out there during this coronavirus crisis, the Skeleton Crew at Haunt Jaunts extends our heartfelt thanks for all you’re doing.
To those staying at home, either because layoffs have forced you to, your school is closed, work is making you, or you’re a germaphobe who doesn’t want to catch anything –whatever the reason, thank you.
None of this is easy. It’s scary, frustrating, nerve-racking, and unknown.
There’s no telling when we’ll be able to get back to normal –or what our new normal will look like after this.
All we know is we’re in this together.
We felt inspired to share a little love until life gets back to normal –or whatever our new normal will look like after this. (Did we already say that?)
Anyway, we’ve temporarily changed the header on our Facebook page in the hopes of spreading our gratitude and perhaps some happy. Because all that’s contagious too, but it’s a lot more fun to catch than COVID-19, right?
We hope you’re staying safe and well.
Courtney Mroch is a globe-trotting restless spirit who’s both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, and obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days. Perhaps it has something to do with her genes? She is related to occult royalty, after all. Marie Laveau, the famous Voodoo practitioner of New Orleans, is one of her ancestors. (Yes, really! As explained here.) That could also explain her infatuation with skeletons.
Speaking of mystical, to learn how Courtney channeled her battle with cancer to conjure up this site, check out HJ’s Origin Story.
I’m thankful for our wonderful mail carrier, Miss Kim.
