Part 2 of The Dead Files season 14 is about to draw to a close. When the special two-hour season finale premieres on April 2, it will mark a milestone 200th episode for the show.

Paranormal or otherwise, not many TV shows reach that landmark. As far as ones that aren’t soap opera, talk, news, or game show, that is.

According to Wikipedia, fewer than 100 scripted American primetime television series can boast such an accomplishment. I couldn’t find a list of reality TV shows with such a landmark, but if I had to make an educated guess, I’d be willing to bet it’s a pretty exclusive list too.

So, yeah. The Dead Files landmark 200th episode season finale is sort of a big deal.

The special two-hour investigation is also their most challenging and ambitious case to date. Let’s take a look at what it’s about, including a sneak peek video.

The Dead Files 200th Episode Season Finale

Allan and DiSchiavi head to Flagstaff, Arizona, where an investigation that begins with a plea for answers behind dangerous paranormal activity plaguing a family-owned crystal shop soon reveals that the entire town is engulfed by hauntings.

As word of the investigation spreads, Flagstaff residents begin approaching DiSchiavi, one after the other, to relay chilling paranormal experiences –shadow figures, strange noises, and even physical attacks.

Given the unusual nature of this case, and now tasked with a bigger mission of investigating an entire town’s hauntings, DiSchiavi breaks protocol. He asks Allan to meet with him.

Expanding their investigation, Allan conducts walk-throughs of multiple buildings. She encounters several disturbing spirits, including a mysterious ancient entity and a vengeful, evil shadow man.

Dischiavi, meanwhile, collects accounts of violent unexplained activity from the area’s residents. He uncovers a dramatic history of Flagstaff marked by tragedy and bloodshed.

With the stakes higher than ever, can DiSchiavi and Allan deliver answers and relief to the tormented community? Or is Flagstaff doomed to fear the dead forever?

  1. The season finale preview is terrifying! That poor town! The message I’d like to send to Amy and Steve is thank you for your work. It’s made me more respectful of human spirits and other non-corporal entities.

So well said, Priscilla. If I do happen to get a chance to speak with them, I’m for sure going to let them know you said this!

  3. I was a late-comer to Dead Files. Now I can’t live without it. I’d love to meet Amy and Steve at a paranormal convention sometime down the road.

The first thing that came to mind was that old saying, “Better late than never!” LOL Glad you found them and enjoy them so much and I hope you DO get to meet them one day. I’ve never spoken with Amy but I got to talk with Steve once and he was just as gracious as could be. But that was just over the phone so I’ll have to live vicariously through you if you get to meet them in person! lol
