If you’ve listened to my Haunt Jaunts radio show, you know I always start the show off with a couple of segments, namely:

  1. Skellie Shout Outs
  2. The Fake News or Not game.

This past weekend I got a bright idea for a new segment: Trivia Tuesday.

Big Tease

Every week on the show, I’ll share some interesting tidbit that I’ve come across. (I guess “interesting” is open to interpretation. It might only be interesting to me. We’ll see.)

But you know me. There’s always a slight twist to everything.

In this case, each week leading up to the show I’ll post a teaser of some sort.

For example, this week I posted this photo on HJ’s social media accounts:

Tune in to ParaMania Radio Tuesday March 13 at 8 pm Eastern when we’ll clear things up and reveal the history behind this image. https://www.paramaniaradio.com/

You can probably make out enough to see a monkey, but do you know what this might be about?

If you want to find out, listen to the show. Or not…

Since I didn’t get my act together and post this the second I had the idea (which was late Sunday night, so even that wouldn’t have given you much time), you’ll likely see this after the show has aired. (I’ll be posting this about an hour before showtime. I know no one follows me that closely.)

So if you’re reading this after 8 p.m. Eastern on March 13, 2018, just look for the episode in our On Demand section on ParaMania Radio. It’ll be titled “Lewis O. Powell IV.”

I’ll try to do better and post Trivia Tuesday teasers here farther in advance going forward in case you don’t also jaunt with us socially elsewhere. (And if you don’t, what’s up? Let’s get connected!)

The Spark for a New Game?

If you were around for the Caption This era here on HJ, I’m thinking of bringing that back with a twist. Maybe posting a blurred out image like the one above and letting people caption it or try and guess what kind of trivia it might reveal…

I dunno. Still thinking on that one. But I’ve missed the Caption This contests. One of the regular HJers recently let me know she missed that game too. We’ll see what we can do to bring it all back and tie it in with the show and have some more fun again.

Hint

I will give you a hint about this week’s photo though: It was inspired by the book this week’s guest wrote.

I don’t know if he’s written about this monkey, but it is does have to do with Alabama.
