Well, it’s taken me a couple of months, but I think I have the hang of this upcoming paranormal events thing. People are even taking note and sending me info about their events. Awesome.

This week I even came up with an official name and tag for what I’ve been doing: Upcoming Paranormal Events Report. That’s what I’ll be titling these posts as, with the week’s date, from here on out.

Like last week, this week has been loaded with events. I’ve almost learned of a new one each day. On the days I didn’t, I’d make up for it the next day by learning of more than one.

Below are the upcoming paranormal events I’ve learned about since the last post. As usual, all have been added to our Paranormal Events page for further reference and safe keeping.

SEPTEMBER

Saturday nights in September (Friday and Saturday nights in October): Rohs Opera House Ghost Walk – “A haunting tour of downtown Cynthiana, KY” LOCATION: Cynthiana, KY

9/14: Movie and Investigation at Black Moon Manor – They posted this on their FB page, so that’s what I linked to. They’ll show A Haunting in Connecticut first, followed by a full overnight investigation. Call (317) 586-3527 if interested in attending. LOCATION: Greenfield, IN

9/15: Beyond Ghosts Dnipro Ukrainian Center Ghost Hunt – “Home to both German and Ukrainian heritage that dates back to before WW2, this place is sure to be your most unique paranormal investigation. Dnipro is also a Beyond Ghosts exclusive location to investigate. Join us as we show you all the hotspots of this 3 story building. Dnipro investigation spots include the basement, the giant auditorium, and the school house on the 3rd floor. Plus we take you in other secret spots…” LOCATION: The Dnipro Ukrainian Center in Buffalo, NY

9/29: Beyond Ghosts Psychic Series Murphy Orchards – “Join Beyond Ghosts and their special guest Psychic Mediums for a unique event in the setting of an actual historical property that was a certified stop on the Underground Railroad!” LOCATION: Burt, NY

OCTOBER

10/12: Black Moon Manor Ghost Adventures Premier Party – The Ghost Adventures Crew investigated the Black Moon Manor. The Manor is celebrating their debut with a party. But they’re not taking reservations. It’s a first come, first serve thing. Call  (317) 586-3527 with any Qs. LOCATION: The Gas Light Inn in Indianapolis, IN (Note: This event was mentioned on their Facebook page and is why I linked there.)

10/13: Jamestown Paranormal Convention – This is the second year for this event, with all proceeds benefiting breast cancer awareness. LOCATION: Jamestown, NY

YOU MAY ALSO LIKE:  TRVL/discovery+ Jan 30- Feb 12, 2023: A Paranormal Activity Explosion!

10/13: Monster Fest – This sounds like a hoot. Pamela K. Kinney shared this one day “annual celebration of horror in film and literature” with me. She’ll be there signing her books. LOCATION: Chesapeake Central Library in Chesapeake, VA

10/19 & 10/20 (as well as 10/26 & 10/27, and 10/29 & 10/30): Haunted History Walks of Norcross – “Scare yourself silly by visiting some of the most historic and spookiest spots around the southeast. Eat and shop or stroll and shiver…” I like how Sally Toole, the tour’s guide, sums this town up: “…my favorite little railroad town with an active afterlife.” LOCATION: Norcross, GA

10/31: Scares that Care! $5.00 Halloween Donation Day– The Scares That Care! folks are doing it again. Donate $5 and get a number. Numbers will be randomly drawn for some neat prizes. (See their Halloween $5.00 Donation Day Prizes album on their Facebook page for what all they’ve got up for grabs this year.) You can donate Via Paypal (scares_that_care@yahoo.com) or call toll free at 1-855-666-2275 and use your credit card that way. Money raised benefits three families in need they’re trying to help. 1. Black Moon Manor was NEVER a smallpox hospital and people are not buried in the yard. The operator does not own the house, as he claims, he merely leases it. Additionally, he is using the names of deceased people from the community as “people who died there”. Again, not true. No one has died in that house. He is taking advantage of people to line his own pocket. The house may indeed be haunted, but the background story he gives is completely FALSE. The community is trying to stop him from his lies. Ask him for documentation of his story – he can’t produce any.
