I’ve got some quick updates on past posts I’ve written about Ghoulish Goodies, the Oddity Files and Nick Groff. So let’s get to it, shall we?

Ghoulish Goodies

At the beginning of this year, I wrote about how Kevin, the Head Ghoul for Ghoulish Goodies, responded to one of HJ’s newsletters to tell me about his company. Ghoulish Goodies offers a variety of horror, Halloween and goth-themed mystery fun bags.

So, basically, it’s a sort of subscription box service. Sort of. Minus the subscription. Which is nice. You’re not committed to a monthly or quarterly delivery. You can just purchase boxes as they catch your fancy.

When Kevin first contacted me, you were only able to view and order Ghoulish Goodies boxes via their Facebook page.

The update: Ghoulish Goodies now has a website: http://www.ghoulishgoodies.net.

If you’re looking for a fun gift idea, check it out. They have all kinds of boxes, including: Horror Mystery Boxes, Witch Boxes, Gothic Boxes, Halloween Mystery Boxes, I Love Dead Things Boxes, and more. Much, much more!

Oddity Files

Oddity Files on Amazon

It’s no secret I’ve got a little bit of a girl crush on Kitsie Duncan. How could I not? She’s so cool. And a badass. But she can also be a goofball, on top of having a heart of gold. In other words, she’s a total package.

Anyway, last year Kitsie took the first season of her Oddity Files episodes to Amazon Prime Video.

The update: Season 2 of the Oddity Files is now available for your streaming pleasure on Amazon.

Like Season 1, there are six episodes in Season 2 also. Investigations include the Outlaws and Lawmen museum in Colorado (one of my favorite OF episodes btw), the Paramatta Gaol in Australia (which is a two-part episode), and the Paracafe in Winchester, Indiana. Just to name a few of the haunted places you can expect to see.

You can buy episodes for as  low as 99 cents. Or, if you have Amazon Prime, you can watch for free!

Nick Groff

So many people were shocked by the sudden cancellation of Paranormal Lockdown. His co-star, Katrina Weirdman, had a gig lined up with Jack Osbourne on a new Travel Channel show, Portals to Hell. But what was Nick going to do?

The same person who told me about PL‘s cancellation also gifted me with the clue of what Nick would be up to next. (Thanks again, Bast!)

The update: You may see Nick on a new show or two on his new streaming platform, VIDI Space. It was founded by him, Elizabeth Saint (Ghosts of Shepherdstown), and Justin Narragon (Paranormal Lockdown). VIDI is “a space to indulge in everything strange, unique and interesting – a platform for the independent artist.” Content includes documentaries, films and web series. You can subscribe monthly or annually. It appears there’s even a way to buy shows individually.

Live premieres of new content are also streamed each week during set announced times where you can chat with others during the showing at vidi.live. You can also get VIDI Space on iOS, Android, Roku and Amazon Fire TV.

  1. Thanks for the shout out!

  2. I still am shocked by PL’s cancellation. The show was so good. I probably won’t subscribe to Vidi, but am hoping that Nick finds himself on a new show, in the future, on television. Not a fan a paid subscription services. My paycheck only goes so far.

I hear ya, Debra! I’d love to subscribe to so many channels, but if I did…I’d be broke. NOT to mention I’d never move from the couch because along with money, I only have so much time to view things. LOL

Thank YOU for the info! I always try to use it. It may take me a while but I do! LOL
