Thanks to a first-look photo recently released by Hulu, we now know whose applications were accepted for Living with the Dead, a.k.a. Kristen Stewart’s gay ghost hunters reality show. The series will follow the fabulous “Ghost Hunties” —Alex Le May, Juju Bae, Ken Boggle, Logan Taylor, and Roz Hernandez— as they explore some of the world’s most haunted locations, helping the living by healing the dead.
During Pride Month 2022, news broke that Stewart was looking for ghost hunters, psychics, haunted historians, etc., for a new series she was executive producing. It didn’t have a name then, but it does now, as well as a release date—all eight episodes of Living for the Dead premiere on Hulu on October 18.
In addition to who will star in the show, the first-look photo also reveals at least one of the locations they visited: the Clown Motel in Tonopah, Nevada.
Another thing we know is that Stewart narrates the series, which Hulu describes as follows:
From the creators of “Queer Eye,” five fabulous, queer ghost hunters criss-cross the country, helping the living by healing the dead. As they explore some of the world’s most infamous haunted locations, they’ll shed light on those not seen and illuminate untold stories. Together they’ll push past boundaries to bring acceptance to the misunderstood —living and dead. This is “Living For The Dead,” Ghost Hunties!
No trailer or episode descriptions have been released yet, but Hulu promised more info is coming soon, so stay tuned…

Are you familiar with any of the Living with the Dead stars?
Courtney Mroch is a globe-trotting restless spirit who’s both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, and obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days. Perhaps it has something to do with her genes? She is related to occult royalty, after all. Marie Laveau, the famous Voodoo practitioner of New Orleans, is one of her ancestors. (Yes, really! As explained here.) That could also explain her infatuation with skeletons.
