Word has it an early spring is on the way if the weather predicting groundhog known as Punxsutawney Phil is on the money this year. After the wallop of winter weather so much of the U.S. has endured this week, I’m sure there are a lot of people hoping to see warmer weather coming sooner rather than later.
But Phil’s prediction meant something else too. It decided who would win the Pick & Predict Groundhod Day Crazy Dog T-Shirts Giveaway.
Sadly, no one’s prediction matched Phil’s. Everyone felt certain he’d see his shadow and forecast six more weeks of winter. (Which, considering how winter’s been this year, is a fair call.)
So what’s a girl to do? I guessed right in my example entry, but I can’t win my own contest! (Plus, it was for demo purposes only. It wasn’t meant to be a real entry.)
So I did the only fair thing I could think of. I entered everybody anyway, bonus entries and all, and still did the drawing!
